Polly CharlestonPolly Charleston is the owner of Insight Diagnostic Ultrasound in Wichita, Kansas. As a self-employed technologist, Polly scans at a local health clinic for low-income individuals and families, as well as midwives, in the Wichita community.

Polly recently purchased a Mindray DC80 ultrasound system from Associated Imaging Services (AIS) and provided some feedback on her experience so far with her new system.

Q: What has been your experience so far?
Charleston: I have known Grant for a long time, but this is the first machine I’ve bought from him. AIS was wonderful to work with, and Grant made it financially possible for me to be able to buy this piece of equipment.

Q: What has your experience been so far with the Mindray DC80?
Charleston: I really love the Mindray DC80. The images are crisp and clear, and the machine itself is very easy to use. There are also more options on it than my last machine.

Q: What are the most useful features of your system(s)?
Charleston: Artificial intelligence (AI) is the most useful feature. I also love how fast the machine transfers the images to my USB, so I can send that information off to my radiologist.

Q: How has having this system affected your center?
Charleston: This machine allows for faster patient turnaround time. I receive the information faster, so there is a quicker response time.

Q: How has your relationship with AIS benefited you?
Charleston: I’m able to do the same exams with a better machine. AIS has just been fantastic to work with.

Q: Would you recommend AIS to other physicians/centers?
Charleston: Yes, absolutely.
