Cardiovascular Consultants’ goal is to “provide patients with all of the care and information you need regarding your cardiovascular health, and provide a full array of cutting-edge preventative, interventional, structural, and heart rhythm treatments” using state-of-the art technology.

Curtis Lee, Lead Nuclear Technologist, shared his experience on the facility’s long-term relationship with Associated Imaging Services in a question-and-answer interview.

Q: How long have you worked with AIS?
A: We have worked with Associated Imaging Services for 23 years, beginning September 29, 1997.

Q: What pieces of equipment have you purchased from AIS? What has been your experience so far?
A: Our first cameras were two SOPHA single heads. Our updated cameras are a SMV DSTi dual head and a GE Millennium dual head, both interfaced with Xeleris Functional Imaging Workstation. These cameras are workhorses, and we have a low “down time” with these cameras.

Q: What are the most useful features of your systems?
A: Our Ultra SPECT Wide-Beam Molecular Imaging software increases the image quality while allowing us to both lower dosage and decrease imaging time. This allows us to schedule up to eighteen patients.

Q: How has having these systems affected your center?
A: They allow our cardiologists to have the option to both schedule a Nuclear Cardiology Study and see their patient on the same day.

Q: What has your service experience been like with AIS?
A: AIS has provided excellent full service contracts with competent and
friendly field engineers who promptly respond to service calls and minimize downtime.

Q: How has your relationship with AIS benefited your health center?
A: AIS provides both nuclear cardiology and echocardiology services to our patients.

Q: Would you recommend AIS to other cardiology practices?
A: Yes!
