Frequently Asked Questions

What is your response time?

AIS has a reputation for fast response time and in most cases we are onsite the same day if your system is down. We have a team of engineers that work together to ensure that every equipment repair is made as quickly and efficiently as possible. We are happy to provide phone tech support to our valued customers.

Do you have flexibility regarding billing?

We offer flexible payment plans to assist you with your budgetary needs. Quarterly payments are offered on service contracts at no additional charge. We also have plans that will enable you to purchase equipment on a flexible payment schedule.

What advantages can you offer over other service companies?

We are known for faster response times, personal attention, experienced engineers, competitive rates, and a reputation for honesty and integrity. In order to give you the best in customer care, your phone calls will not be routed overseas or through an automated answering service. We believe we have the finest service available for the best value.

Does my contract cover problems relating to power surges/outages during storms?

No. Service contracts cover the functionality of the system and any peripheral equipment that is listed on the face of the contract. We highly recommend protecting your diagnostic equipment with a UPS to help prevent damage due to power surges or thunderstorms.

What is the warranty period on previously owned equipment?

Our standard warranty on nuclear medicine gamma cameras and ultrasound systems is one year on parts and labor. The warranty period varies on peripherals and parts. Any quote you receive from us will state specifically what warranty you will receive.

Who is Med Equipment Service?

MES provides high quality diagnostic equipment, both new and reconditioned. Med Equipment Service buys, refurbishes, and sells the same kinds of diagnostic equipment that AIS services. Learn more about MES here »

FAQ

We have been partners with AIS for almost twenty years.  They understand how important imaging equipment is to a busy nuclear lab, and will do whatever it takes to keep it running smoothly.  I have seen them here on evenings and weekends when needed so that we can stay on schedule.  They are professional, reliable, and their work is always excellent.
